Furniture Showroom

A new showroom and UK headquarters for international furniture maker Brunner, converting a historic warehouse in Clerkenwell into a light, spacious gallery showroom and offices. 

​

Our strategy was to strip back and reveal original features of the building’s industrial heritage, including steel beams and sandblasted brickwork. 

​

Voids were opened up in the floors and a new dark steel ribbon staircase was threaded through the existing structure, unifying the spaces.  New full-size shopfront windows and an oversized pivot door make a striking new entrance.
